This Bruce residence is a refined custom home where everyday family living is elevated through thoughtful planning, natural light and beautifully resolved interior detailing.
The kitchen forms the heart of the home, connecting effortlessly with the living, dining and outdoor areas. Designed around a spacious open-plan layout, the kitchen features two island benches, premium stone surfaces, Gaggenau appliances and integrated pocket doors that conceal a hidden breakfast area. HIA recognised the kitchen as the 2025 ACT/Southern NSW Kitchen of the Year, noting its Wabi-Sabi inspiration, minimalist design and thoughtful functionality.
The interior palette is calm and highly considered, with soft timber tones, marble-look stone, clean white surfaces and carefully integrated lighting creating a warm yet contemporary feel. Large openings and a pop-up ceiling bring natural light deep into the kitchen, while the suspended rangehood keeps the sightlines open and uncluttered. The bathroom continues the same refined approach, combining soft neutral finishes, custom cabinetry, brushed nickel fixtures and subtle lighting to create a calm and practical space. Every detail has been selected to balance beauty, durability and day-to-day use.
This Bruce residence reflects Prof Homes’ focus on quality construction, detailed joinery coordination and close collaboration with designers and architects, delivering a home that feels elegant, functional and deeply connected to the way the family lives.
